DailySale Privacy Policy
How we handle your data
This policy describes what data the DailySale Chrome extension and web app collect, how we use it, and how to contact us if you have questions. It is written to satisfy Chrome Web Store disclosure requirements.
What the extension accesses
The extension runs only on Etsy’s “Run a Sale” pages to automate discount scheduling. It reads and fills the sale form fields you already see on that page (discount amount, duration, listings selection) and checks your license status. It does not collect browsing history, payment details, or unrelated site data.
Data we collect
- • Account email to send magic login links and associate your license.
- • License key and access status to verify usage inside the extension.
- • Optional support details (subject, message, and logs if you choose to attach them).
- • Basic analytics on feature usage (aggregated, no Etsy store content or listing data).
How we use data
- • Authenticate you via magic links and keep you signed in.
- • Validate licenses so the extension can enable automation features.
- • Process credit purchases and referral rewards.
- • Respond to support requests and improve reliability.
Storage, sharing, and retention
- • Authentication tokens and your chosen language are stored in your browser’s local storage.
- • We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except trusted providers (e.g., billing and email) needed to run the service.
- • Data is retained while your account is active and removed or anonymized when no longer needed or upon request.
- • All requests are sent over HTTPS; credentials and tokens are never exposed in URLs.
Your choices
- • You can remove the extension at any time from Chrome.
- • You may request deletion of your account or data by contacting support.
- • You can opt out of sending logs when using the in-app support form.
